Henry Reynolds public lecture

The lecture delivered by Professor Henry Reynolds for the HCSA annual public lecture was thought provoking and engrossing. Professor Reynolds brought together two developments - the opposition to so called 'black armband history' during the years of the Howard government and the remilitarization of public history in the same period. This led him to ask questions about the differing ways in which we remember our dead - those of the overseas expeditionary wars and those indigenous Australians who died defending the occupation of their lands.
